Engaging 5000 visitors with music, great food and community spirit

Objective

A prosperous region in the north of England aspired to have a Summer Festival to bring the local community together and welcome visitors from across the region for music, entertainment and local food and drink. The Event Foundry successfully tendered to event manage the entire process from beginning to end. The Summer Festival showcased the best of the region to become the highlight of the events calendar for everyone involved.

Solution

The Event Foundry worked with a steering group of stakeholders to understand the objectives of the event, where it needed to grow or change and how to build on a series of fringe events already taking place. The Event Foundry are experts in licensing and legislation for outdoor events, so we were well placed to deliver. The result was a fabulous day where over 5,000 people danced into the evening and celebrated everything great about their region. The Event Foundry managed the following areas:
